I came across this question in Alex Mandossians blog which really caught my attention. I like his stuff so if you want more of his thinking go to www.alexmandossian.com for more.

Anyway, his blog got me to challenge myself in terms of how I spend my time. I would define myself as an entrepreneur since I make my living entirely through my own efforts, which is my choice.

However, when I look at how I am spending my time day in day out, how much of that time is directly involved in building my businesses, or am I just doing "things" that need to be done?

I am an engaged entrepreneur when the activities have a direct correlation to building my business, but if they are just about being busy then is am disengaged and I am just passing the time!

So, are you engaged or disengaged in your world?

Dr F Batmanghedlidj has written numerous books on the benefits of drinking the correct type of water to the overall wellbeing of our bodies. In his book, Your Body's Many Cries for Water: You are Not Sick, You are Thirsty! he tells the story of a man, John Fox, who suffered from severe hypertension. He was so bad, that after 6 months of intensive treatment with prescribed drugs, he was worse than when he started and he was getting no answers. He decided to take matters into his own hands and out of the hands of "traditional" medicine.

He embarked on a rehabilitation program where he used diet and water as the core of his rehabilitation. He began by drinking six to eight 8 ounce glasses of water each day for 3 days. He also started taking water half an hour before each meal. Very quickly - and it was just days - he started to notice the difference. Before long he started to eliminate his anti-cholesterol pills, aspirin and nitroglycerine pills. Can you imagine how good he was feeling without all these chemicals flowing through his body? For John it was truly incredible - particularly after all the "treatment" he was getting in hospitals only succeeded in making him feel worse! All this progress from a regime set out by Dr Batmanghelidj.

Hi program combined his increased water intake with a good diet and two one hour walks per day. Building up his exercise program he started to enjoy additional energy. However, the greatest joy came after 6 months. The tests showed that John's heart had restored to its normal state and needed no further medication to cope with daily living. He was over the moon!!

The message here is clear. Next to air, water is the most critical element to life itself and is paramount to the effective performance of all our organs.

The message in the book is clear - severe hypertension was reversed sufficiently to make John's life normal again - without medication!!

Just finished reading a disturbing but fascinating book "Selling Sickness: How the World's Biggest Pharmaceutical Companies are Turning us all into Patients" by Ray Monahan and Alan Cassels.

If you have any interest, and who of us are not, in the power of the large pharmaceutical companies influence our medical care, then you should read this book.

It is scary to read how the "big pharmas" influence so many aspects of the use of medication - it includes regulation, policy, research and the "seduction" of physicians with money and all types of incentives. This book certainly higlights the need for stronger regulation in the area of the relationships between the companies and those who prescribe the medication.

What is also frightening is that their international research has demonstrated the impact of shrinking government support for research and evaluation, and consequently pushes the development of drugs to an industry that is only focussed on growing profits to shareholders - a scary prospect.

Buy this book on Amazon at:http:short.iedeaf7o

Read the quote below from an asthma sufferer to see how she discovered that not all water is the same, and the powerful effect on our bodies of drinking the right water - it enables our bodies to do what it is capable of. If we keep our bodies properly hydrated and properly alkanised, then the body can perform what we would call "miracles" but, if our bodies could talk, our body would say it is just doing it's job!!!

"My family has been drinking Kangen water for 1 year. Both myself and my 10 year old son suffer from asthma and require an inhome nebulizer as well as steroid medications and rescue inhalers. After just 2 months on the water both of us are asthma and allergy free taking no medications in 10 months! It really is amazing and I share this with so many people, especially children....they are all having the same results."

NY have recognised the terrible damage that soft drinks are doing to our children and the frightening growth in obesity among our future leaders that they are considering putting a tax to curb the spend. This would be a major move against the major soft drinks firms who have tremendous power in terms of their spending power. It does, however, confirm what we already know - these drinks are making our children obese, and we know they are highly acidic beverages which allows diseases to thrive in our systems. We must stop our future generation from poisoning themselves and we must encourage them to drink the right fluids.
